GENERAL NOTES
1. THESE PLANS ARE FOR FAMILIARIZATION PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH DETAILED WORKING DRAWINGS OF THIS KLINGON WARSHIP CLASS.
2. IN AN  EMERGENCY,  THE  PRIMARY  HULL  MAY  SEPARATE  FROM  THE  SECONDARY HULL WITH OR WITHOUT THE BOOM. THE SECONDARY HULL CANNOT OPERATE INDEPENDENTLY.
3. THE  AUXILIARY  POWER  REACTORS  WILL  PROVIDE  SUBLIGHT  PROPULSION  AND POWER IN THE EVENT OF HULL SEPARATION. NORMALLY THEY PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTARY POWER.
4. HYDROGEN IS  COLLECTED AND FTOCESSED FOR USE  AS FUEL IN THE AUXILIARY PCWER REACTORS AND THE IMPULSE ENGINE.
5. THE  SPACE-ENERGY/MATTER SINK "TRAWLS"  SPACE-ENERGY  AND MATTER FROM SPACE. THE SPACE-ENERGY IS PROCESSED INTO ANTIMATTER FOR USE IN THE WARP ENGINES. THE MATTER OBTAINED MAY ALSO BE USED IN THE WARP ENGINES OR DIVERTED FOR RAW MATERIALS.
6. THE  PHOTON  TORPEDO  SYSTEM  IS  A MODULAR UNIT WHICH  CAN  BE  REMOVED FOR SERVICING AT STARBASE-EQUIVALENT FACILITIES. THE KLINGON SYSTEM FOR LAUNCHING PHOTON TORPEDOES IS LARGER THAN THE FEDERATIONS AND LESS EFFICIENT.
7. THE SONIC DISRUPTOR WEAPON COMBINES THE KLINGON DISRUPTOR BOLT WITH PHASER TECHNOLOGY TO CREATE AN EFFECTIVE BEAM WEAPON. THEY "ACT TO SUPPRESS MOLECULAR BINDING WITH A PULSED WAVEFORM. THIS CAUSES OSCILLATING STRESS  AND CONTRACTION OF THE TARGET PRODUCING VIBRATION AND HEATING."
8. THE KTORR CLASS CAN ACCEPT MULTIPLE HULL VIOLATIONS. ALL DOORS AND ALL BULKHEADS ARE AIRTIGHT AND CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING SUDDEN DRASTIC PRESSURE CHANGES. THE CONTAINMENT DOORS SEAL OFF SECTIONS OF THE SHIP TO PREVENT PROGRESSIVE DECOMPRESSION. THEY ARE KEPT OPEN DURING NORMAL OPERATIONS, BUT WILL CLOSE WHEN ALL BATTLE STATIONS HAVE BEEN SECURED OR WHEN THE HULL HAS BEEN VIOLATED. DOORS OPENING ONTO AN EVACUATED, IT MAY ONLY BE OVERRIDDEN BY DAMAGE CONTROL PARTIES. THERE ARE SIMILAR CONTAINMENT HATCHES WHICH CAN SEAL OFF ALL GANGWAYS.
9. CREW  SURVIVEABILITY IS EMPHASIZED BECAUSE THE SHIP CANNOT OPERATE EFFICIENTLY IF EVEN SMALL CREW LOSSES ARE SUSTAINED. ENVIRONMENTAL SUIT UOCKERS ARE PLACED MORE FREQUENTLY ABOARD THIS WARSHIP CLASS THAN ABOARD OTHERS. IN LOCKERS ADJACENT TO ENGINEERING COMPARTMENTS RADIATION SUITS CAN USUALLY BE POUND.
10. THE  SICK  BAY  AND GYMNASIUM HAVE CERTAIN TIMES FOR CREW USE, OTHERWISE THE OFFICERS HAVE EXCLUSIVE ACCESS.
11. THE  INTERNAL SURVEILLANCE  ROOM  MONITORS THE  CREW'S ACTIVITIES VISUALLY AND AURALLY. THIS IS A DETERRENT TO POTENTIAL MUTINEERS. IT CAN ALSO BE USED TO LOCATE INTRUDERS.
12. ACCESS THROUGHOUT THE SHI P IS BY CORRIDORS AND GANGWAYS. A CARGO ELEVATOR IS IN USE IN THE SECONDARY HULL.
13.  ALL  DECKS  HAVE  BUILT-IN  GRAVITY AND  ANTI  RADIATION FORCE-FIELDS. THE ANTI-ACCELERATION FORCE-FIELDS ARE GENERATED BY THE TWO INERTIA DAMPENERS ATOP THE LIFE-SUPPORT SECTION.
