 JP1 Slave Present Position C
 -----------------------------
This option may be needed at system-level integration if the slave
drive cannot be detected by the master drive; i.e., if the interface
signals identify the slave drive are not present

 - a jumper installed at position C indicates that the slave drive is
   present.

 - when the jumper is omitted at position C, the master drive detects
the slave drive automatically by using signals DASP- and PDIAG-.

JP1 Drive is Master Position D
 ------------------------------
 - A jumper installed at position D selects the drive as the master
   drive.

 - The jumper omitted at position D selects the drive as slave drive,

JP1 Cable Select Option Position E

    | ********** ********* |
    +-------|--------------+
            + Pin 28

 - When a jumper is installed at position E, the signal level on
Signal Connector pin 28 defines the drive as follows:

A low (ground) at pin 28 sets the drive as a Master.
A high (open) at pin 28 sets the drive as a Slave.

 - When the jumper is omitted at position E, master/slave selection
is accomplished via JP1, position DD (DRIVE is MASTER Option).

The mounting screws must be selected so that they do not penetrate
the bottom mounting holes by more than 0.20 inches or the side
mounting holes by more than 0.156 inches. Screws that are too long
 may short to PCBA components.

 The 45x0A drive uses industry-standard mounting for 3.5-inch, 1-inch
 high, disk drives.

Recommended orientation is vertical on either side, or horizontal
with the Device Electronics board down; other mounting orientations
 may be used.

No matter what the mounting orientation is used, Micropolis specifies
the maximum allowable HDA casting temperatur to be 60*C (140*F).
